Paulo David, Medalla Alvar Aalto 2012

 
El arquitecto de Madeira Paulo David ha sido galardonado con la Medalla Alvar Aalto, un premio que otorga la Fundación Alvar Aalto junto con la Asociación Finlandesa de Arquitectos (SAFA), el Museo Finlandés de Arquitectura, la Sociedad Arquitectónica Finlandesa y la ciudad de Helsinki, y que reconoce la excelencia en la creatividad arquitectónica. Entre el 4 y el 26 de febrero, el Museo Finlandés de Arquitectura dedica una muestra a la obra del portugués. En anteriores ediciones han recibido la medalla, entre otros, James Stirling, Jørn Utzon, Tadao Ando, Álvaro Siza, Glenn Murcutt o Steven Holl o Rogelio Salmona.
