The awards of the Asturian Institute of Architects (COAA) are meant to foster architectural quality and rigor in the northern Spanish region. The 23rd edition has highlighted three works: two constructions in Oviedo – the Asturias Fine Arts Museum by Francisco Mangado and the Guillén Lafuerza Public School by Miguel Ángel García-Pola Vallejo – and the book Lo moderno de nuevo, Arquitectura en Asturias 1950–1965, by Fernando Nanclares Fernández and María Nieves Ruíz Fernández.
The awarding ceremony will be held during the first fortnight of April, coinciding with the COAA exhibition on the selected works.

texts placed side by side.

is the third member of the AV family: a bilingual publication essentially focussed

heretofore only laterally dealt with in the other two magazines.
