The Spanish Association of Architecture Institutes (CSCAE) is giving its medals of this year to Batlle i Roig Arquitectes and the firm of Rafael de La-Hoz, and also to Grupo de Estudios y Alternativas GEA 21 and Mª Ángeles López Amado, director-general for architecture and housing of the regional government of Extremadura.
The distinction has been bestowed annually since 2011 to honor individuals or entities that through their work and dedication, among other commendable merits, have contributed in a significant way to upholding the interests of the profession and architecture.
The CSCAE medals and the International Spanish Architecture Awards will be given to the winners on 29 November at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid.
