16th ASCER Tile of Spain Award winners

The Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture and Interior Design are organized by ASCER, the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association, to give recognition to architectural and interiors projects carried out in Spain which have used ceramic products in floors and claddings in an outstanding way. The jury of the last edition, chaired by Iñaki Ábalos, has announced the winners: in the Architecture section, the Cellar Mont-Ras in Girona, by Jorge Vidal and Víctor Rahola; in Interiors, three subway stationsnew L9 Metro Station in Barcelona, by Garcés-de Seta-Bonet Arquitectes; and finally, in the Graduation Projects category, ‘Un jardín de paisajes: recuperación del entorno de la Muralla Zirí en el Albaicín (Granada). Nuevo centro vecinal y oficina de turismo,’ by Rafael López-Toribio Moreno of the Granada School of Architecture
