Aitor Ortiz: ‘La memoria trazadora'

On view through 3 March at the University of Navarre Museum is 'La memoria del trazado,' an exhibition of 140 images taken by the photographer Aitor Ortiz (Bilbao, 1971) since the mid-1990s. More than 80 have never been displayed in public before. The show invites visitors to reflect on the ambiguities of representation and the mechanisms for interpreting them through visual games. The series are not presented as isolated works, nor in chronological order, but as a coherent ensemble that generates a narrartive by means of decontextualization.
