C.F. Møller, ‘The Heart in Ikast (Denmark)

The Scandinavian firm C.F. Møller has completed new facilities for the International School Ikast-Brande in Ikast, a Danish town in the Central Jutland Region. Surrounded by outdoor sports areas, ‘The Heart’ is a building formed by a series of blocks clad in wood and glass, with slanting roofs that interlink. A multipurpose central core is surrounded by spaces of different sizes, all highly flexible use-wise. The objective is to generate an active hub of social interaction for the community.
