2020 FAD Award winners

The FAD Award for Architecture highlights the housing block built in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, by the Madrid firm Estudio Herreros, in collaboration with the Barcelona practice Estudi d’arquitectura MIM-A, while Madrid-based Andrés Jaque / Office for Political Innovation came in first in the Interiors section for Run Run Run, a café-restaurant in the Spanish capital. The jury of the 62nd FAD Awards – chaired by Anna Ramos and including Atxu Amann, Cristina Bestratén, Tomás López Amat, David Morros, and Marc Aureli Santos – decided to give the City and Landscape prize to Ocamica Tudanca arquitectos for its redevelopment of Plaza de la Fuente de Mansilla Mayor in León.

Meanwhile, the International FAD Award is on its 7th year, and a jury presided by Mario Corea has distinguished Josep Ferrando Architecture for the Sáenz Valiente Building at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires.
