Green Edge House by mA-style in Fujieda (Japan)

Raised almost a meter off the ground, a bold windowless white wall seems to float as it conceals the garden that winds around the perimeter of the house built by Mayumi & Atsuchi Kawamoto – of the Japanese office mA-style – in Fujieda, a city in Shizuoka Prefecture. Called Green Edge House, the project protects the privacy of a dwelling that through glass facades visually pours out to the narrow yard surrounding it, while bringing natural light and air into all the rooms.
