Located in a small peninsula in the Dutch city of Almere, the project proposes – under the theoretical frame of the pedagogical system of the Italian educator Maria Montessori –, a program of opposites: a school and social club for the elderly. The dual nature of its services, which demands many independent spaces and, at the same time, several areas of relationship and exchange among users, is addressed with a system based on the minimum model, the equipped wall, which is the functional and structural core of the project.
