Close to Yanzi Lake, in the heart of Shenzhen’s Pingshan District, stands this 42,000-square-meter museum whose curving and fluid forms evoke a river. A fruit of the collaboration among the firms 3XN, B+H Architects, and Zhubo Design, the building is crowned with a public park that rises gently on ramps from the ground all the way up to the accessible green rooftop. Drawing inspiration from its environs, the project seeks to give continuity to the natural elements around, optimizing integration with the landscape.
